Chia Seeds Supplier & Manufacturer

The plant Salvia hispanica L. produces tiny black or white seeds called chia seeds. Chia seeds are tiny, rounded, semi-flattened, and coloured in shades of black, white, and grey. Chia seeds have a delicate, nutty flavour that goes well with both savoury and sweet foods. Although some say they taste like poppy seeds or alfalfa sprouts, they have a very faint flavour.

Usage:

Dry chia seeds can also be combined into yoghurt and cereal, added whole or ground to smoothies and juices, or sprinkled on top of salads. The seeds will gradually swell while you eat them if you add them to a beverage or a "wet" food like porridge, but they will still have a slight crunch.

Benefits:

Quercetin, an antioxidant found in chia seeds, can lower your chance of acquiring a number of illnesses, including heart disease. The fibre content of the seeds is very high, which may assist to decrease high blood pressure.
